Your day with Daraja

From Fajr to Isha, a steadier day.

  1. Fajr

    Wake for Fajr, every day.

Turn on the Fajr alarm and Daraja schedules the next two weeks from your prayer times, refreshing them whenever you open the app. It rings like any iPhone alarm, even on Silent.

Need a push? Turn on the optional wake-up challenge, and your Fajr alarm keeps coming back every few minutes until a photo of your sink or prayer mat is recognized, or until sunrise. A recognized photo earns a small bonus.

  2. Dhuhr

    Put the scroll on hold.

With Prayer Focus, the apps you choose lock 30 minutes into each prayer time, or after the delay you pick, and stay locked until you mark your prayer. Pause for 15 minutes when you need to.

App choices stay on your iPhone. Daraja doesn’t collect your app usage.

Dhuhr isn’t logged yet. Take a moment for prayer, or record it if you’ve already prayed.
  3. Asr

    Read a little, every day.

Set a daily reading goal and pick up exactly where you left off. A daily quiz of three short questions on the Quran, hadith and the prophets keeps you learning.

  4. Maghrib

    Find your masjid.

See the masjids near you, log the one you prayed at, and keep a private map of everywhere you pray.

  5. Isha

    Close the day gently.

Write a short private reflection, with a prompt to begin when the page feels blank. Your journal is encrypted on your iPhone.

Weekly reflection

One lesson, many lives.

Each week, everyone in Daraja receives the same short lesson: a verse or hadith, a few lines on what it means, and one question about your own week. You have until Sunday at midnight to write.

  • Every lesson shows its source, so you can read it in full
  • Your answer is kept in your private journal
  • Optional: share a copy without your name and read how others answered

Places prayed

Remember everywhere you’ve prayed.

Save the masjids and places where you pray and watch your map grow. It’s private to you.
